As a board certified periodontist, I specialize in the treatment of gum disease and the placement of dental implants. I received my specialty training and completed a Master of Science at the University of Toronto as part of the Graduate Periodontal Program. Prior to studying periodontology, I received my dental degree from the University of Toronto and completed a General Practice Residency at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts.

During my dental education, I received numerous awards and recognitions, including the Dean’s Gold Medal. I also completed clinical research examining the potential benefits of resveratrol, an anti-oxidant, in the treatment of chronic gum disease. I am currently a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a member of the Ontario Dental Association, Ontario Society of Periodontists, and Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.

Teaching the next generation of dentists the importance of good clinical skills, along with compassion and a focus on individualized patient care is very important to me and I remain involved with the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry by teaching as a clinical Periodontology instructor. I also serve on staff in the Department of Dentistry at Mount Sinai Hospital.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, and traveling. I look forward to working with your dentist to provide honest, caring, and personalized treatment, using the most up to date periodontal and implant techniques available.
