Specialized Periodontal Care in Midtown Toronto
Yonge Eglinton Periodontics is a specialty practice focused on providing advanced periodontal care in Toronto. Our team is dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of gum disease, gum recession, and bone loss using modern, gentle techniques.
Our team includes Dr. Andrew Kay, Dr. Faryn Berger, Dr. Nisha Patel and Dr. Taras Klitovchenko. Together, they provide non-surgical and surgical periodontal care, dental implant treatment, gum and bone grafting, tissue regeneration and long-term periodontal maintenance.
We take time to explain our findings, discuss appropriate treatment options and coordinate care with your general dentist when needed.
This is more accurate than “all your oral health needs,” which makes the clinic sound like a general dental practice.

Specialized Gum, Bone & Implant Care
-
Dental implants replace missing teeth by creating support for a crown, bridge or implant-supported denture. Our periodontists assess the gums and bone surrounding the proposed implant site and determine whether grafting or tissue regeneration may be needed before or during treatment. -
Gum recession, deep periodontal pockets and tissue loss can expose tooth roots and weaken the structures supporting your teeth. Gum grafting and regenerative periodontal procedures can help protect vulnerable areas and make them easier to maintain. -
Treatment for periodontal disease may begin with non-surgical therapy and maintenance. More advanced cases may require pocket-reduction surgery, tissue regeneration or other specialist procedures.

A periodontist diagnoses and treats conditions affecting the gums, jawbone and supporting structures around the teeth. Periodontists also perform procedures such as gum grafting, bone regeneration and dental implant placement.
You may benefit from a periodontal assessment if you have persistent bleeding gums, gum recession, deep gum pockets, loose teeth, bone loss, missing teeth or inflammation around a dental implant. Your general dentist may also refer you for specialist care.
Yonge Eglinton Periodontics accepts referrals from dentists and provides an online appointment-request option for patients. Contact the office at (416) 481-1179 to confirm what is required for your particular concern.
Yes. The clinic’s periodontists provide dental implant assessment, planning and placement. They also evaluate the surrounding gum and bone tissue and may recommend grafting when additional support is required.
A consultation generally includes a review of your concerns and dental history, an examination of your gums and supporting tissues and a review of relevant diagnostic records. The periodontist will explain the findings and discuss appropriate treatment options.
When care begins with a dental referral, the periodontal team can coordinate treatment planning and follow-up information with the referring dentist.
The clinic is located at 2300 Yonge Street, Suite 706, Toronto, Ontario M4P 1E4, near Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue.
