I was referred to Dr. Kay as a complicated emergency case .. he saw me within hrs! He was attentive, compassionate and skilled.. he did what he could and made multiple phone calls to check on me.. he when the problem escalated immediately saw me and put me in the hands of an amazing oral surgeon again within hrs… that was yesterday and Dr Sean Lim preformed the surgery today!! So needless to say I am extremely grateful to him!!!!

I recently had an extraction and bone graft done by Dr. Andrew Kay. I am extremely impressed with his skill and competence as a periodontal surgeon. Before starting, he reviewed with me the pros and cons of my treatment options, helping to reaffirm the correct decision. He then gave me a painless injection, and ensured that it remained completely frozen throughout the entire procedure. I didn't feel a thing! He patiently reviewed with me my home care instructions and medications, and even called me the following day to see how I was doing. It's no fun having to lose a tooth, but Dr. Kay and his assistant along with everyone else in the office were sympathetic and compassionate, and treated me with the utmost of care. Dr. Kay is an excellent periodontist.

Dr. Kay is an outstanding periodontist! There’s a reason Dr. Kay is booked year round. There’s a reason people from other cities come to see him. A week ago Dr. Kay performed implant surgery on me (three of them, top front) and I was expecting to go through aftermath pain for at least a day. The procedure went exceptionally well and that’s because it was executed seamlessly. Once the anesthesia wore out after just an hour it was injected, pain lasted maybe for three hours, there was no swelling and I didn’t even have to take painkillers. Just the medication he prescribed for after surgery. His pricing is really fair, his assistants are nice and professional and you’re greeted as soon as you enter the office. Lovelyn at the front desk is very professional and nice. Dr. Kay has the magic touch and despite the long wait time for seeing him, it’s definitely worth it all the way. I’m very satisfied and strongly recommend Dr. Kay.

I don't usually leave reviews unless I'm really blown away with service/experience. This is the best clinic I've ever been to that involves anything related to oral health. I recently had gum related surgery for one side of my mouth. I was terrified beforehand and read about other people's experiences online about how the pain was terrible afterwards and was fully expecting the worst. I am not exaggerating - I didn't feel much pain during the treatment and had little to no pain afterwards. They really made an effort to make me feel comfortable when I was in the chair. I can't remember the assistant's name that was there, but she really helped me feel at ease before everything started, so I wanted to thank her as well. Also, thank you for allowing me to play music and turning your operating room into a mini rock concert! I still have surgery to do on the other side of my mouth and in a weird way (and can't believe I'm saying this because getting any dental/oral related work done mostly always sucks), I'm looking forward to it because I know I'll be in good hands. Thank you Dr. Kay!

Very professional office and practionters

All those 5* reviews are TRUTH! Dr Kay and his team are just so spectacular. I went to see Dr Kay for a semi-emergency crown lengthening procedure while in Toronto from out of town, on the enthusiastic recommendation of my mom. He came in early to assess me and managed to fit me in for the procedure the same day. If you’re a nervous dental patient, you are in excellent hands with Dr. Kay - he uses numbing gel on the gums before even injecting the local anaesthetic, and the entire procedure was absolutely painless with no discomfort. He explains everything he needs to do, and the reasoning behind it. And at my request, he told me everything he was doing *while* he was doing the procedure, to reassure me. He also has a warm, encouraging and friendly manner that puts you at ease, as does his assistant. The office is clean and high-tech and centrally located, but despite the extremely high quality of the space and the excellent care, the cost is in line with standard periodontal procedure costs elsewhere. My insurance covered the vast majority of the cost. In order to ensure a good result, Dr. Kay also prescribed me medication to start the morning of the procedure, and provided clear and detailed post-operative care instructions, which I followed. It is now the day after my crown lengthening - and even with stitches in my gums and a slightly shaved-down tooth and jaw, I have ZERO PAIN. I am 100% comfortable. Even yesterday, within 8 hours of the procedure, I was able to go out with friends for a 4-hour raucous dinner. It’s actually astonishing. I HIGHLY recommend getting your periodontal procedures done with Dr. Kay. I live out of town and I will now be flying back to Toronto if I ever need more work done. He’s that good.

Just finished my second periodontal procedure with Dr Kay . Both Dr kay and the staff have been extensively responsive, organized and accommodative. Dr Kays personally followed up post surgery and returned my emails and calls personally within 10 mins of sending them during holidays.

Had four deep cleans done. Three were done by Resma. Had no real issues. She really puts you at ease. Dr. Kay explained my case thoroughly, even answers your emails. I am sure he will do & excellent job, when its time to do my implants Good job.

Dr. Corber is an outstanding dentist! He did a gum graft for me, and not only was the procedure way less painful than the previous one I had with another periodontist, but the healing time was also much faster. Aside from being a great dentist, he is kind, patient, and always running on time for appointments. I also saw Dr. Kay for a separate procedure, and he was also amazing. And the office is beautiful!! I would highly recommend Yonge Eglinton Periodontics!

If you’re looking for a periodontist, look no further! I was very nervous going in for my Frenectomy, but Dr. Kay put me at ease and gave me a good laugh during the quick procedure. I also barely felt the needle and wouldn’t hesitate to go back should I need a graft in the future. It’s clear he truly wants to help people. I’d give him 15 stars if I could!

Great customer service which is very important from the start and great deep cleaning experience, lifesaving for my teeth. A special shoutout to the wonderful receptionist Violet who was so supportive throughout everything that she made me feel like my best friend was with me.
