It’s refreshing to be in an environment filled with compassion. As I prepared for my gum surgery, I felt anxious, but I knew I was in good hands with the team at Yonge-Eglinton Periodontics. From the moment I walked in, they were inviting and warm, treating all the clients with dignity and respect. They took the time to support everyone. The staff went above and beyond. One gentleman needed help finding a good dental clinic, and the team assisted him in that journey. An elderly lady was thrilled to see a staff member she knew, and they stopped to have a friendly and engaging chat. Dr. Kay put me at ease with his kind nature and great sense of humor, and the surgery was painless and felt quick! His assistant was also very professional and had a warm demeanor. I was even able to listen to one of my audiobooks during the procedure. I used to have a strong fear of anything related to dental work due to some unpleasant past experiences; however, I now realize that it’s all about finding the right fit. Once I found that, my fears vanished as I had many positive experiences. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Kay and his team. I now have an excellent periodontist clinic and a fantastic dental clinic conveniently located near my home, and I no longer fear anything related to dental care! Dr. Kay even called me the following day to check in — what a kind gesture!

THIS MAN DESERVES A MILLION STAR REVIEW Dr Kay was the nicest, most knowledgeable, most helpful doctor I have ever seen. He put me right at ease, explained everything super patiently, and gave serious thought to our off-routine ideas and propositions. He didn't even charge for that hour-long consult, although we probably won't be paying him anything for like 5 years. TLDR: The man is an expert AND a saint. You will never regret it. I'm not even scared about my teeth anymore.

I seldomly write Google reviews but my experience at Yonge Eglinton Periodontics warrants one. I had previously visited another periodontics clinic that was not the right fit for me. From the moment I arrived, the entire team was welcoming and professional. Lovelyn was remarkably kind and courteous. Shennel was attentive and a pleasure to speak with. Dr. Kay exudes a calm and knowledgeable presence. You can tell that he genuinely cares about the well-being of his patients. He took the time to outline the importance of gum health and clearly explained my overall treatment plan in terms that I could understand. Even though the road ahead will be long, I left with genuine piece of mind and this is precisely what I was missing. I have full confidence that Dr. Kay and his team will provide the highest standard of care and the most appropriate treatment options. Dr Kay replaced my front tooth with an implant after I lost it in an accident. I had some anxiety around the process of the implant which was unfounded as Dr Kay and staff handled it with the highest level of skill and professionalism making the experience painless. Dr. Faryn Berger is my 12 year old daughter’s periodontist. Periodontistry is a particularly challenging practice area in the dental profession and Dr. Berger is one of the finest exemplars of her craft in this area. She is a kind, understanding, patient and knowledgeable practitioner who takes the time to explain the issues and her treatment plans to remedy them. She has a very calming and reassuring “bedside” manner which is a huge relief for my daughter. Thank you Dr. Berger for being such a caring, kind, wise and supportive practitioner. It really means a lot to us. As for the rest of the staff at this clinic, je dis BRAVO!! Outstanding patient intake, care and support in this clinic. First rate from the top drawer!! I recently had a minor dental surgical procedure with Dr. KAY, and I couldn't be more impressed with the experience. I recently had a gum graft done by Dr.Andrew Kay and his team. I was blown away by the professionalism and solid work from him and his team. They made me feel comfortable and safe during the procedure. Highly recommend them for any dental needs.

A year ago I had a fractured tooth extracted in the back of my mouth ( bottom tooth next to my wisdom tooth) . I was hesitant to get an implant but realized at 58 years of age I could get dental issues with shifting teeth as I age . I got two opinions and Dr Kay was my second opinion. The first periodontist I saw told me I would need a bone implant. I was hesitant to have all these invasive procedures. I went to Dr Andrew Kay for my second opinion and he told me I had enough bone in my jaw that I did not need a cadaver bone in my gum. I was nervous about the titanium implant but the procedure went smoothly. I didn’t even use painkillers after the surgery and I healed fast. Dr Kay saw me when I was worried about a dry socket . I didn’t have a dry socket but I was seen as soon as I was called and I was reassured. The day after the implant surgery Dr Kay also called to check on my recovery . I was treated like family by all the staff . It’s a zen like quiet and spacious office . All round a positive vibe at office with all staff and everyone seems happy to work there .
