I came Younge Eglington Periodontics after seeing another periodontist (not affiliated with this clinic) because I was unsettled with how the consult was and upon reflection, decided I needed a second opinion. I did my research, found this clinic, submitted an on-line form and the next business day got a response. I was able to book a consult within a few days with Dr. Patel and it was the polar opposite from the other one, a positive experience: Dr. Patel was thorough, explained everything about my issue, the solution, plus the details of the procedure then allowed me plenty of time for questions. Further, she was genuinely nice! I booked my procedure, a gum graft for two teeth, right after the appointment for the following week. Though a gum graft is a surgery, honestly, there was no discomfort at all let alone any pain so I laid back, closed my eyes and relaxed until she lifted the chair and told me I was finished. The next day there was some mild pain but an Aleve took care of that. She also gave me a card with instructions and by following those, my first follow-up went great and on my second one, the graft had taken hold completely and to my eye, looked excellent. The office staff and the various dental assistants I met were just as wonderful and if I ever need this type of specialist work again, it would be the first place I would go. For anyone getting this procedure done, my advice would be to follow all instructions on the card along with any other guidance from your specialist and I am sure you will end up as satisfied as me.

I had a fantastic experience getting a gum graft with Dr. Andrew Kay. From the initial consultation to the procedure itself, he was outstanding. The entire office staff and dental assistants were knowledgeable, welcoming, and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Kay and his entire team.

Dr. Patel is an amazing periodontist. I must admit that before meeting her, I had deep reservations and wasn’t sure about her expertise. But four months later, her exceptional clinical expertise and precise judgment in dealing with my complex case have made me realize how fortunate I am to have her treating me. My condition was complex, severe, and sudden: alveolar bone dehiscence, severe gum recession exposing the root, and a tooth that showed no response to pulp testing. Based on my individual circumstances, Dr. Patel made an astute assessment and developed a tailored treatment plan. Four months later, my condition has been improving well, in line with her original assessment. Dr. Patel is a rare and exceptional periodontist. I am deeply grateful to her for accurately assessing my situation, stabilizing things during one of the most critical moments, and guiding a very difficult situation back in the right direction.

Trust the good reviews!! I was a little skeptical about the 5.0 score because I've never seen a score this high. But they are really that good and totally worthy of it. Had a gum graft surgery with Dr. Nisha Patel. The quote was substantially lower than another clinic with no caveat. There **might** be minor differences in the procedures, for example Dr. Patel sultured the donor site instead of some other fancier stuff, but I'm 100% satisfied with the outcome. The graft was a success and I healed well, which was all that mattered. The doctors would give us their cell numbers post op. I had to text Dr. Patel for a minor concern and got a timely reply. Front desk staff are also very professional and friendly. They are experienced with nuances between different insurance companies and helped me a lot with the insurance paperwork.

I'm currently undergoing some fairly substantial dental work/reversions/veneer corrections and crowns, and - as part of that programme - I'm having implants by Dr Kay. I had the first of them today, at lunchtime, having battled through a snow storm to get there on time. Dr Kay was super friendly, his team competent and the procedure was painless. These guys are no fuss, no stress, professional and friendly. I'm super impressed: having been a little concerned it might have been difficult to endure, it wasn't... not even remotely.
